Kipps is right in the centre of Brighton so is great if you are on foot and want to explore. The staff are really nice and friendly and helpful. This hostel sets itself apart from the large, impersonal institutionalised hostels with its friendly and helpful staff (armed with local knowledge and readily recommend destinations for day trips) and complimentary evening snack. Me and my partner's requirements were for a budget room in central Brighton which gave us a fighting chance of actually getting some sleep. I enquired with Kipps about the noise levels at night and was told guests are asked to keep noise to a minimum after 11pm. This was reassuring. I'd expect a hostel to be a bit lively... More
