Just returned from the Abbey Lodge. It's your typical seaside B & B, in need of an update but functional and in a fairly good position for both city centre and other attractions. Nathan is one of the best hosts that we have encountered. Nothing is too much trouble and he cooks a mean breakfast too. Unfortunately for the Abbey... More

Cant tell you 'all' about it but Debbie couldn't have done more, a home from home and Brighton didn't disappoint either. Great place, Great location, Great time - we will be back soon Thanks B from Mike & Niki x

.I booked Abbey Lodge due to its location in Kemptown and was pleased with that aspect. The bed was comfortable. I was disappointed with the bedding & pillows and the bathroom and the cleanliness in general, it does need a bit of tlc. However I guess at £44.50 for a standard single room including parking and breakfast isn’t overly expensive.

Stayed last august, and although we had some difficulty finding it (our fault, we don't know Brighton at all!) had a fantastic time. Host was very helpful and advised us of all the places we had to go to, as well as making us an excellent breakfast! Room was bigger than expected, and although bathroom was a little on the... More

24/2/12-26/2/12- We were a group of 6 young females staying here. The location was fantastic- 5 min walk from pier and all amenities within 2 min walk away! Breakfast was lovely, a range of choice. We stayed in 3 out of the 4 bedrooms of which all 3 were a good size, comfortable and clean. The main aspect to this... More

Stayed at the Abbey Lodge again - with son, and his wife and 3 kids - and once again just so nice to be near to everything that we wanted. Went to a concert on the first evening - the b&b is 10 minutes away from the Brighton dome - and on the Saturday had a day in the Lanes... More

Visited in September. Chose this b+b as it's much better value for money compared to other b+bs in the area. Location is excellent, in the hear of Kemptown and close to the seafront. We were made to feel very welcome by the manager. Room was clean and comfy, although the bathroom was very small. Breakfast was good, although on one... More
