Booked into this hotel for a wedding weekend. What a terrible place and really bad treatment of disabled guests. When we booked we were not told that there was a £15 per night charge for parking and on top of that, our friends that required the use of the disabled parking were also charged for parking. The rooms are far... More

My fiance and I came to Brighton for our birthday weekend. The service was faultless. Welcomed and ordered taxis whenever asked. The room was nice but could do with warmer decor. Being an old building, it seemed a little 'cold'. Was woken up at 3am by other younger guests arguing/ playing outside our room. And at breakfast next morning the... More

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend to celebrate his birthday. We had a lovely time. The breakfast was excellent and we also noticed that the prices in the bar were very reasonable. We stayed at the rear of the hotel and slept very well, we always like to use a fan and were pleased to see the... More

We stayed here as a three person family (including a 4 year old). We found it perfectly good for a short holiday. You have easy access to the beach, and it´s only a 10-15 minute walk to the middle of the action in Brighton. The interior design is quite quirky. It´s obviously a very grand old hotel which was been... More

Dear yrussell Thank you for taking the time to post a most valued review following your stay at the Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel. We had a good package through Internet to stay at Mercure Brighton (80 pounds). The front facade of the hotel is very beautiful. Our room was very nice and quiet, because at the very rear of the hotel, though it had no view at all. Parking is charged 15 pounds per day, but you may park on the sea front,... More

Dear ComteLV Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your stay with us. We agree the Hotel façade is an achitectual treasure and we will be working towards making improvements to the front again this year! I was delighted to read that you were happy with your room in the ‘Mews’ area at the rear of... More

this is fine enought hotel but at £100 a night excluding breakfast you can stay somewhere equally as good for half the price. the location is fab and decor ok but personally i'd rather pay half the price and get something very similar. the windows had no double glazing so we were rudely woken by the dust bins at 7am... Upon reading various differing reviews I felt a little doubtful whether or not to stay here. I liked that the manager responded to good and less positive reviews and had the impression that the hotel staff cared what people thought. So I thought, why not? The hotel is located close to the ruins of the old pier overlooking the sea... More

Looks a grand building but once insider this hotel looks quite tired, and that is just reception. The lifts are slow, the interior decoration dated and the room I had was a classic 1980s design. It was clean and the staff were friendly, its just crying out for refurbishment. Its quite a distance from town as well. More

Dear ChrisSussex72 Thank you for your valued review following your stay with us at the Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel.
