The only staff member I met was Paula. She was very polite and helpfull. It was a last minute booking where I found the guest house on line then cold called about room advertised. Paula said the room price was different to what was on line but agreed to the on line price of £55 in the end. Disappointed that... More

We stayed here for two nights for a business conference. We needed a hotel just to sleep en freshen up. The beds were ok and the room had enough space. The bathroom was very, very small, so I wouldnt recommend this if you are claustrophobic.

I cannot fault the location or the staff who were very friendly and helpful. We did not make breakfast on either day. I suspect where there are other negative comments they are probably about Room 4 which was our room. Other rooms were much brighter and therefore looked much nicer and welcoming. Room 4 was very dowdy and needs updating... More

The hotel itself is very nice as well as its staff. The hotel is very close to the Brighton wheel and the staff are very kind that they have arranged the transportation for us from London Heathrow Airport. Also, the British Breakfast they cooked are very good. I hope I can visit here again!

Hello, this is Paula and I'm the manager. You came to us for a room and we let you know how much was it. You said you couldn't afford it so we made a special price just for you. You were going to stay for a week at first, but then you booked another week. Why did you pay for... More

The staff are lovely, polite and very helpful, rooms are very basic and very clean but a bit old and worn out, needs refurbishing. Please take note that there are NO LIFTS. So if you're traveling with large suitcases or have a hard time climbing up the stairs request for a room on the ground floor (might be noisy at... More

To say that we were disappointed is an understatement! We stayed on the 11th and 12th of December 2012 the weather was just above freezing during the day and below at night. There was no central heating on and when i complained the manager said he had just had it fixed, he managed to get it working during the day... More

...for the money. The pictures are deceiving. Compared to the other Guest Houses and Hotels on the street, it was a bit of a disappointment. The first room we stayed in (room 4) the bed was awful - it was like a sponge mattress - we asked at the breakfast the following day to move rooms, there was a vacancy... More
