Kevin and Lyn were most welcoming, the room was modern and clean and the breakfast was the best breakfast we've ever had at a B and B and beats most hotels. Just returned from one night stay at the Rivendell. We had the friendliest welcome by host Kevin & were quickly settled into a warm & comfortable room. The room was clean, and service, including the decent breakfast, couldn't be faulted, but at GBP 88 in the back end of the season, with a bathroom which was small and shower-only, we felt better value could be had.
