Maggie and Malcolm looked after a group of 9 of us and our stay was clean and comfortable. We stayed in two 8 birth dorms sharing with some other lone travellers. Staff were helpful about locking up valuables and the hostel is a very short walk to the town centre. The hostel also has a bar which was excellent news!... More

We were horrified when we saw our family room. Old wooden bunkbeds and not very clean. The showers, down the corridor were useless, so we ended up just washing in the sink in our room!! Avoid, you can get much better and cheaper elsewhere. More

This hostel is in a lovely building in a nice location in Swanage but the price seems very high for a hostel. Not sure it is worth the cost for shower doors that don't close, tiny rooms, and general grottiness. Would rate it Average if the cost were more reasonable. More
