“worst of stuck up britain”

Turned up last weekend having confirmed the booking that day and the fact we had a one year old. Arrived to be met by a shrill woman saying we couldn't stay. We asked why to which they responded variously that they didn't have insurance! or even better that children weren't allowed to stay in listed buildings!!! Pathetic excuses and left... More

“Gorgeous accommodation - would definitely stay again”

We have recently come back from a wonderful stay at the Old Diary Cottage, part of Thorn Bank B&B. The cottage is beautifully decorated with the most comfortable beds, and the owner made us feel very welcome. B&B is short walk from town centre with your own private entrance. The cooked breakfast was brilliant. Highly recommended. More
