My husband and I stayed here for our 1st wedding anniversary in room 15 Xocoatl. There was a chocolate fountain in reception with marsh mallows which we could help ourselves to anytime we pleased.. which was normally every time we passed it! The room was very clean and the bed sheets were so soft although the room was a bit... More

Wow, lovely owners, easy check in, very helpful! We stayed in the matazuma suite, a really nice laid out room, it had a lovely quaint room with the comfiest bed ever and a very good en suite, and the cleanest room I've stayed in fit a long time, oh and a yummy breakfast Would Definately visit again

Stayed for one night for a conference. Lovely room, it was warm and cosy. The owners cannot do enough for you and we had a lovely evening in the bar with some other residents. I will definitely be back. Great place to stay

My other half and I stayed here over the bank holiday weekend and we could not fault anything, the service was perfect, extremely friendly staff, immaculate room- presented perfectly with all the extras that were ordered, the bed was very comfortable (gives dreams a run for it's money), breakfast both mornings were lovely alongside one of the special chocolate pancakes-... My daughter and i stayed there for a couple of days, absolutely could not fault it. The complimentary chocolate in our room was delicious, the room itself lovely, and the breakfasts were also delicious. It is situated minutes from the town centre one way, and the seafront the other. Staff are friendly and helpful, I pre ordered the cava and... More

Booked this hotel as a birthday treat for my partner over the early May bank holiday for one night. What a pleasant surprise, the outside, although clean and well presented, belies the truly "lovelyness" of this hotel. We arrived about half an hour early and was greeted by the owner who is very jolly fellow who had no problem with... More

My fiance booked this hotel as a birthday surprise for me and paid the extras...we were disappointed. The staff were lovely and friendly and they make a fabulous breakfast everything is fresh and made to order - if they served breakfast to non-guests I would eat there again. I would not stay again however as the room was very small... More

We visited this hotel during the Easter weekend. As a chocolate fanatic, I was surprised I hadn't spotted this hotel before so I had to try it. We got a nice welcome, by a massive vase of chocolate buttons........and by the owners obviously! The chocolate isn't that cheap stuff which in a way I was expecting to be honest. It's... More

My boyfriend is a Chocoholic, so this seemed like an ideal present for his 29th birthday! We stayed in the Maya room, with a lovely bay window overlooking the garden at the front and also very quiet. I ordered a Chocolate fountain in the room for the 1st night, which was amazing! The service from the staff from when we... More

Our view of this hotel suffered from us having just stayed for two nights at Harbour Heights Hotel, overlooking Sandbanks and Poole. We chose to extend our weekend after finding that this hotel was bookable using coupons. After staying at an AA 5* this hotel seemed small and dark, but to compare the two would be unfair to this hotel.... More
