Our stay at Victoria Lodge couldn't have been better! We received a lovely and very informative welcome from Jacqueline (and Jack the lurcher) on arrival, even though we were late. The lodge is spotlessly clean, well decorated and our room had gorgeous views out accross Lynton. Breafast-wise, it was a real treat to be able to choose from a very... More

I booked 2 rooms at Victoria Lodge for a 4 night break away for myself, my partner and my mum as we have all had a very stressful year....The welcome we received was very informal and Jacqueline made us feel welcome from the word go....Her staff were also friendly and very welcoming....The breakfast was second to none, excellent and the... I've been coming here with my brother for many years and it is without a doubt the best B&B in the South West. The whole place has a lovely atmosphere and Jacqueline and her staff (especially Bev) are extremely pleasant and welcoming. Breakfasts are the best breakfasts I've ever had and everything is very clean. I can't rate it highly... More

My brother and I have been to Victoria Lodge once and sometimes twice a year for the last decade. Jacqueline and her staff are extemely friendly and make us feel very welcome. The slightest evidence of previous guests in my room would ruin my holiday, but I'm glad to say the place is always spotless. The best part is the... More

Everything about this Bread & Breakfast is superb - from the moment we were warmly greeted by Jacqueline to the time we had to sadly leave. The location is wonderful - Victorial Lodge itself is a lovely home and quite simply it felt like we'd stepped back in time. Our room was perfect - complete with four poster bed. Spotlessly... More

Stayed at the Victoria Lodge for my husbands 70th birthday. Booked 3 rooms for the family for 2nights. All the bedrooms were spotless & beautifully decorated. We were met by Jackie with a very warm welcome & tea & cake. She told us all about the area, places to visit & restaurants in the area where we had our evening... More

We stayed at the Victoria Lodge in August for our wedding anniversary, having been to Lynton 26 years ago for our honeymoon. The area is stunningly beautiful, with the valley of rocks just a short stroll from the hotel. We would not have asked for a better place. The decor is very in keeping with the property and pristinely clean.... More

Just returned from a brilliant three day stay at Victoria Lodge. Jacqueline and her team are the most friendly bunch we have encountered, the breakfasts were amazing, the rooms comfortable and beautifully furnished (sherry and chocolates included!), and nothing was too much trouble. Jacqueline went out of her way to be helpful, booked us a table in a local restaurant... More

We arrived to a warm and friendly welcome. Jacqueline greeted us with refreshments and a wealth of knowledge about attractions and information on restaurants in the local area. The room (Helena) was immaculate and the general ambiance of the guest house was very stylish and relaxing. The attention to detail, evoking an atmosphere of the late Victorian era, was extremely...
