Lovely place, the food was simple, no-fuss, tasty, cooking, with generous helpings so fantastic value. As well as two carvery meats, there were a choice of minced meat pie or sausage pie with the richest shortcrust pastry that melted in the mouth. I ate here on three consecutive nights while staying in Lynton. The carvery is brilliant value, with good portions of meat and lots of different vegetables. Enjoyed a relaxing one night stay at the Sandrock Hotel .Hosts were friendly. Room was a little dated, but spotless and comfortable. A bed and breakfast establishment which is being refurbished, At the moment just three bedrooms with en-suite are ready, but the bathrooms still need updating.
