Stayed here for one night only, could not believe the location, so convenient for the quay and the town with the added bonus of free parking if staying at hotel The room was clean and comfortable (305) with the added luxury of a decent shower!! Tea and coffee facilities and a hair dryer also in room Reception staff were very... More

If you like to stay somewhere with character then this is the place. The reception, bar and breakfast area are steeped in history and charming. We stayed in room 20 which was off the spiral staircase and although the hair dryer and one plug didn't work the rest of the facilities were all functional. The room was warm but noisy... More

We booked here for a 60th birthday bash for old school friends, all of us coming from various parts of Britain and even abroad. The service we received was second to none. The whole staff went out of their way to make our day a memorable occasion. We had a variety of dietary requirements but the White Hart wasn't at... More

Within walking distance of the centre of Exeter, its Cathedral, shops and Central station, this hotel was most acceptable for a two-night stay during a conference visit. The initial welcome was warm and genuine, and all the reception staff I encountered during my stay were courteous and helpful. The room was clean, and the bed perfectly comfortable. The bathroom was... More

We stayed here for a few days on business and found it to be very adequate for our needs. The staff were helpful and the old world charm of the place was definitely appealing. It was also close to the centre of town, and about 10 minutes walk to the main bus stop. Our room was at the back of... More

We found this place by chance, as we thought it was a pub. The rooms were nice & comfortable and clean. The full english breakfast was well cooked and ample. The pub itself has a lovely garden and is very interesting historically. I will definately stay there again of ever I go to Exeter.

The trip involved a overnight stay at the White Hart Hotel on a BB basis which provided a very comfortable rest after our long journey from Maidstone Kent. We had a very enjoyable evening in the restaurant part of the hotel which was separated by a small passage between the hotel and the pub part of the buildings. All very... More

Stayed here for one night whilst on business. From the outside there is an olde worlde pub with what looks like a 1960s extension, however the rooms were really nice inside and I was very happy with mine. The staff were friendly and I enjoyed a nice meal in a good pub atmosphere. The location is very good being very... More

Got a double room at £77 from Late Rooms and agree with other comments this hotel is well placed for central Exeter. I felt hotel would have benefitted from a deep clean (big blob of bubble gum on carpet on entrance to room) and scuffed/marked walls (coffee, tea etc) in room and walkways. Bathroom was clean, as was bed linen.... More
