“Took the shine off beautiful Polperro”

Apartment tidy, with usual amenities, BUT, bedroom was damp. Views from windows non existant due to overgrown hedging. Patio area a disgrace !! The whole area was unattended, with rubbish, weeds, old bird droppings all over seating and table, even an old armchair and other rubbish in one corner. The view was only partial and only then if one stood... More

Bosun’s Retreat is one of 5 self-catering holiday flats in the Old Rectory. Let’s list the good points first, there are not many: The flat is nicely furnished and the view from the patio is lovely. But this already leads to the first of the many bad points: The description reads “all apartments enjoy sea views”, well….to enjoy the view... More
