Our stay at Blue Seas Hotel was wonderful with our hosts Fiona & Arnaud. From our greeting by Arnaud with a pot of hot tea and home baked scones with jam & Cornish clotted cream, to the most amazing breakfasts each morning. Fiona helped greatly with photo copies of urgent correspondence which I had to take care of immediately, and... More

My stay at Penzance has been wonderful, thanks to the Blue Seas hotel. The owners are very kind, always helpful and ready to give you good advice about exploring Cornwall. My room was small but VERY comfortable with a dream-like shower, spotless toilets and washbasin, comfy bed and fluffy, immaculate towels which were a blessing to use after a long... More

Me and a child (12 years) both comming from Germany stayed in the Blue Seas for four nights in March 2013 and it was wunderful. A very warm and kind welcome. Nice, light and quiet rooms with beautiful details. Additionally every day a small surprise in the room like biscuit or chocolate. We enjoyed the wonderful, big and many-sided breakfast,... More

The website states what it is, and what it is not and these are correct. The welcome is very warm and the rooms are very well presented. Tea and coffee, plus biscuits....and fudge! Everything is nice and clean. The breakfast menu is extensive and quite a pleasurable struggle in the morning. The food is very good. A couple of minor... More

Immaculately kept, fresh contemporary styling. Cleanliness standard impeccable throughout. Breakfast menu is beautifully varied, perfectly cooked and of fine restuarant quality thanks to French chef Arnaud. Room number 9 is in the attic but is spacious with a lovely en suite. Faultless. It has sea views across to the pretty lights of Newlyn and the expanse of the bay. The... More

Dear Mr Milliehere, Thank you very much for your kind comments. We are glad you have enjoyed your stay with us. Our guesthouse is a grade II listed building dating back from 1836 when it was own by Master Mariners. This is why we cannot alter the exterior of the house. More

'This is a hotel with more than 5 star rating. The room we stayed was very clean full of light and a sense of space. Our room had a lovely view of the whole expanse of the sea all the way across Newlyn. This is what we call value for £ Everyday there was lovely complimentary treats Cornish biscuits and... More

We were very impressed with Blue Seas Hotel - our room was immaculate as were the entrance hall, dining room and sitting room. Breakfast was beautifully presented with a very wide choice of dishes, and tasted delicious. The owners were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. We would thoroughly recommend Blue Seas Hotel.

The Blue Seas Hotel forms part of a strip of perhaps six or more hotels and guest houses, and I have no experience of the others, but whenever I go back to Penzance I'll be calling the Blue Seas first. The setting is seafront central and there is adequate parking immediately in front. Our room was comfortable and well appointed... More

We have just returend from a long weekend in Penzance staying at the Blue Seas. This was our second visit and, as before, we really enjoyed staying there. Everything is clean and of a high standard but the stand out feature is the quality of the breakfast provided. Simply wonderful!
