The hotel is 5 minutes from the centre of Newquay, however the smell of the bar hit us as soon as we arrived. The Reception area is unwelcoming and although our room was clean it was in desperate need of updating and the duvert covver was past its sell by date. Very friendly and very welcoming. Relaxing atmosphere with great evening entertainment - full marks to Alan the barman for his performance on the Wednesday evening!
