The perfect spot to enjoy an old style hotel, with modern amenities, excellent food in both of the hotel restaurants and an exceptional new spa area. The rooms were big, and the views were expansive. The bed & pillows were perfect, very quiet, and the windows opened to hear the sea. The light in the bathroom was excellent for putting... More

Having stayed in the main hotel 2 years ago we decided to try one of the cottages. The cottage did not disappoint. It had everything we needed for a self catering break, was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We stayed in Tide 3 cottage, a 2 bedroomed cottage with fantastic views over the beach from the living room window. We... More

My husband, baby, and parents in law stayed in Beach One Cottage at the Headland in mid-May. The cottage itself was lovely. Self-catered and everything you need. The master bedroom has views over Fistral Beach that were breathtaking. The cottage also had a small garden that was perfect for our baby to get some good crawling miles in. We met... More

We have returned to this elegant and well situated hotel several times and are never disappointed. The service is friendly, and rooms, especially those with sea views are very comfortable. Dining in the Restaurant is of a high standard, and the recent redecoration is complementary to the whole experience. The Terrace Cafe overlooking Fistral Beach is not to be missed either.... More

We stayed at the hotel with our 2 year old son and had a lovely stay. Location: stunning sea views. Easy access to Fistral beach. Great walks around the headland hotel. Hotel: traditional English style. Rooms were well equipped. Chocolates and free water in the room. Beds comfortable. Breakfasts: Excellent selection. Choice of a la carte or buffet. Pancakes a... The Headland is a good place for family. This is a quite and pleasant hotel. I have been quite disappointed by some rooms, that are not what you can expect from such an hotel. The rooms on the First & Second floor simply do not reach a great standard. But, if you are lucky enough to stay on the third... More

We stayed at the Headland the bank holiday weekend in May and had a wonderful stay. We booked a Fiscal View Suite which was great as it was fresh, modern, light and had a seperate sofa bed for our 2 year old to sleep behind pull together doors (ideal when you are in room watching television in the evening). We... More

We were disappointed when we first arrived as felt ocean facing room was small, the bathroom was exceptionally small,I went to reception to ask if there was a nicer room available and was told it would cost another 100 pounds. We are very frequent travellers and were surprised by this ,however the break was enjoyable and agree that the staff were very...
