We came to Newquay for New Year’s Eve and had a fantastic stay at Hillcrest, both the price and service is excellent and we would definitely return on our next visit to Newquay. The breakfast was also delicious. Thank you!

Welcomed by Duncan (aka Kurt Russell) the owner on arrival. Told us the ground rules with no BS. Every morning without fail lovely fry up served. I won't bother looking for any other place to stay when I'm next in Newquay. The hotel clean and smart. The breakfast is excellent, with a lovely 'roof' terrace on the dining room. Having read the last review on here, I could not disagree more that the hotel is just held together with quick fix workmanship. I thought very much to the contrary, that the hotel was BRILLIANT. Personally, I thought the decor was clean and bright and the room way clean and tidy and the bed linen smelt lovely and fresh. Well... More

Seemed like an okay place at first but it did not take long to see the place is held together with quick fix workmanship to make money and will most likely only be around for a season or two. Not too bad for a cheap nights sleep but not a place to call home.
