As so called 'budget' hotels go, this is EXCELLENT! ALL the staff were pleasant & very helpful. Breakfast was lovely & I'm told locally sourced. The rooms we're perfectly suitable. It was only a 5 min walk to Chester. & the in site restaurants recommend by the hotel were fab!

ideal place for trips to chester stroll up to center of chester or down to the river or cathedral all very close, many good pubs serving really nice food close to hotel, staff will advise. have been to chester many times now have discovered holiday inn racecourse will definately return arthur
