We stayed at this delightful b&b for 2 nights. The room was spacious (downstairs back), clean with an excellent view. The beds are very comfortable and the breakfast (served in the room which is a real bonus) excellent. Kay and Mike are so pleasant and helpful and couldn't do enough to make our stay a pleasant one. The location is... More

An excellent choice to finish off our day in Bristol. The room is spacious (downstairs back), clean with an excellent view. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast pleasant. Bathroom massive and well appointed. We have recommended the B&B to our daughter and will stay again. More

Spent one night at this Bristol B&B and have to say that it was very clean, tastefully decorated and good shower facilities available. Breakfast was served far too early for a Sunday morning though between 7.30-8.30a.m., but did find it very strange that it is served direct in your room, which some of you may like. Adequate full English though.... More

I stayed at the Belgrave after a party nearby, so was able to walk back. The terrace room at the back was extremely comfortable, with a lovely view over Bristol, so I was able to relax with a drink there after the drive. The clincher for me was the fact the excellent breakfast is served to you in your room,... More

A recent review in Time Out's 'Weekend Breaks' prompted a visit to the Belgrave. You're assured of a warm, no-nonsense welcome from the formidable owner, Kay, in her prime location guest house. A little frayed around the edges (missing light bulbs, rather untidy hallway & broken fittings) rooms are nonetheless clean with good bedding, restrained decor and breakfast served in... More

This wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea as a place to stay but it's a spotlessly clean, very distinctive old house run by a down-to-earth couple. The landlady - Kay - is chatty but fun. We had a big room at the back, in the basement, with its own terrace and a great view over the City. Being at the... More

Beautifully kept B&B with a "quirky" landlady. If you want peace and privacy, this is not the place for you. Kay loves to talk - upon arrival you will be greeted with a thinly-veiled list of do's and don'ts, conveyed via her many stories of "nightmare guests" (Heaven forbid if you are one). You will be shown how to use... More

A brilliant location, excellent room and facilities, spotlessly clean with superb servcie. We stayed here with our grow up daughter and son on a family weekend away to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. Whiteladies Road is nearby which has some wonderful restaurants and bars plus shops. The Belgrave is immediately opposite Durdham Downs and Clifton Suspension Bridge is only a... More

A great independent B&B situated at minutes walk from the top end of Whiteladies Road overlooking the Downs. Parking on the road is free and we found a space just across the road from the Belgrave (not bad for a Saturday in August!). The B&B is run by a very friendly couple and our party (two couples) seemed to spend... More
