So what do you expect? Room clean if dated, shower room same - ask for room on the back as the front is very noisy through the night. Not the best, not the worst I have stayed at. More

Electronic room key didn't work. Fine that happens. New key, new room. No toilet paper. Downstairs again. Lost patience when tv controller didn't work, as couldn't face reception again went grabbed a pizza round the road. Back and decided go for a bath as stiff after 5 hours driving that day. Dirty disabled seat, fittings broken, dirty stain bottom of... More

If you just want a place to rest your head, this is it. I wouldn't call this hotel 'no frills' because it's still very nice, with a massively comfy bed, super power shower and very clean and well kept. It's ideal for business trips into the city as it's right by all the amenities and has an underground car park... More

The travelodge is located in a good place in Bristol. It is within walking distance of the town centre and other attractions. It is a basic facility, not as good as some travelodges in that it is probably in need of major investment to bring it up to a decent standard. It is as close to a self service accommodation... More

We had booked to stay for two nights (Monday 16th April and Tuesday !7th) some time ago. A week before our trip, I'd read the recent negative reviews and did wonder what we'd let ourself in for! Basically there was nothing wrong with the Central Bristol Travelodge at all - at the time when we booked, their web site makes... More

I booked the hotel without reading the reviews and was a bit worried but turned up to check in for just the one night. Unlike other reviewers I was happy to pay £7.50 to know that the car was parked securely for the night and that the fee was actually for a full 24 hours meaning that we could leave... More

This place is a tip! The first thing you encounter are hoards of stag or hen parties checking out and a plume of smoke that you have to walk through. The build up of cigarette butts and no space to put them beggars belief. The room was filthy and whilst it purported to have been vacuumed, the previous occupiers pubic... More

I normally don't have much good to say about Travelodge, my motivation for staying is usually they are low cost and I have had some terrible experiences you can read on here over the years but I have to say that I had no problems at Bristol central. The room was a bargain, booked online in advance for 29.00. The... More

I stayed at this hotel about 10 years ago and to be honest I don't think any renovations or improvements have been made since. The bedrooms are small, bathrooms grimey, no air conditioning and therefore if the weather is warm then the window needs to be left open, and onto the main street this doesn't bode for a good nights...
