The Arnos Manor Hotel is not a bad hotel, but is not great either. The plus points were it was fairly quiet (other than other guests doors slamming), staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay, the TV is modern with good signal, the room was clean and the poached eggs at breakfast were lovely. Less good was it was... More

I have stayed here a few times on business now, and I still can't make my mind up whether it's a nice hotel or not! The building is nice, the staff are reasonably helpful, but the decor is in desperate need of upgrading, and the rooms aren't the best. The parking is adequate, and I would try and get a... More

Spent one night here and it will definitely be the last. On entering the reception area, the smell hit us straight away, it was like a hospice. The lift to our room was full of debri, it obviously had'nt been swept for weeks, and worse was to come. The room was dull and tired, it is not a five star... More

Fantastic hotel within easy reach of the city center. Have stayed for the past week and enjoyed the fact its not a clonedl chain hotel, but instead has character and history. There is a comfy bar, large evening meals and the breakfast is great. My room was massive, comfortable and cleaned very well daily. I shall be definitely be visiting again. More

A nice hotel with friendly staff, especially Ken who worked the Cloisters Bar on both nights I was there. The hotel would benefit from bit of redecoration throughout but from what I could see it was clean and well cared for. My room was of a good size and the bed was comfortable, although personally I would have preferred a... More

We don't consider ourselves fussy travellers, but there's no way we would ever go here again. We read the reviews and foolishly went anyway. Our advice - don't go. The hotel is in a convenient location for driving into Bristol city centre but that's where the positives stop. The hotel is outdated and needs a lot of money spent on... More
