I booked a table for my me, mum and my Nan for mothers day. The times were either 12 or 2.30, so we booked for 12. In the past I've had lovely roast dinners here, but was disappointed yesterday. We were put on a table in the restaurant rather than in the pub, even though the tables in the pub... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights. It was the perfect location, about 15 mins drive into the city centre. Just a tiny village pub but it smelt delicious the minute we walked in and the locals and staff were very friendly. Our room was a fairly large, well decorated double, with a very cosy, country-cottage type feel,... More

Booked this hotel for one night, as it was close to Bristol, had good reviews and stated wifi was available in the rooms. Sadly, upon arrival, I was told I couldn't get a signal in the room due to thickness of the walls. As I don't want to open up confidential files in the bar, it meant I couldn't get... More

Gorgeous place. We booked via Late Rooms and were very happy with it. The room we were given was a very substantial size, with one window overlooking the old coaching area. This area is now given over to swifts and swallows and it was lovely to hear their beautiful dawn chorus. We could hear the drinkers in the courtyard but... More

This pub is really handy for people visiting Bristol. There is an excellent selection of real ales and the food is superb. I've stopped here a few times now when I've been working in Bristol and is my accommodation of choice when I work there. The staff are friendly and there is a good local crowd. The rooms were slightly... More

Wanted to be near the Bristol attractions for the family. Excellent choice, all the staff we met were wonderful & some of the most welcoming I have ever met. Room was gorgeous, individual & spotlessly clean! Food was superb! This wonderful place is run by a single lady, may I say she does a wonderful job, for a small country... More

We stayed here recently and had the chef's,Moe's, Christmas meal. 4 courses for £20 and everything for each dish was cooked perfectly. It was better than both mine and my husbands other work do's that had cost more. The room was nice and comfy and all the staff were very friendly. Definately stay again.

I guess I had the room mentioned earlier , the guests next door were not noisy but I could hear the slightest sound.. The staff are really friendly and great service., Another downside would be the parking in a busy lane next door

I stayed in the single room which can be expanded to a famiy room. When it is reduced to a single there is a poorly sound proofed door between the rooms - I could hear a sweet being unwrapped next door so the wall gave only an illusion of privacy. Otherwise a lovely old building and the food was good,... More

My wife and I stayed on Valentine's night so I could attend a course in Bristol the following morning. We asked for a quiet room and were given a lovely large bedroom at the back of the property. The pub was easy enough to find - only a short drive outside of the city. It suited my purposes, though I... More
