This hotel is located in the old part of Powell River, the decor is great with lots of antiques and interesting things to see. Breakfast is good too, help yourself to toast and cereal (or even eggs) in the kitchen downstairs which has a 50's theme. A good restaurant nearby is the shinglemill. We would definitely call back again. More

We stayed at the Old Courthouse Inn for a week. The room was very comfortable and Lilia (owner) was fantastic. Breakfast is provided, and laundry facilities are super. I love heritage buildings and enjoy cosy rooms. I stayed here last year and decided to come back because of the comfortable atmosphere. The Old Courthouse Inn has lots of character in its 12 different rooms. My favourite so far is #9. Definitely a place to stay if you are into heritage and can do without large rooms or bathrooms.
