If you are looking for a laid-back, comfortable, friendly spot to stay in Waterton, this is the spot. This big old historic home has been owned and operated by the same family since 1949. We were looking for 3 nights this September, but the whole town was booked for the 1st night because of several weddings. Jeanne, the innkeeper, found... More

Our stay at Northland Lodge was a refreshing reprieve from the Glacier Park Inc. monopoly. There were nice touches throughout including hand washed linens and delicious breakfast muffins. We also appreciated the historic quality of the hotel and enjoyed staying in the home of the man who built the Prince of Wales hotel. The owner was very sweet and even... More

My husband and I accidentally stumbled upon the Northland Lodge on our recent trip to Waterton Lakes National Park. Normally we rarely make reservations anywhere because we like to be flexible and go where the wind blows us. In this case, our gypsy ways threatened to ruin our trip because we just happened to arrive in Waterton Village on the... More

The accomodations werent necessarily in tip top condition but the staff was excellent and I enjoyed the cabin-y feel of the place. More

This was the only bad place I stayed at during a two week trip. I should have just saved my money and slept in the car. Waterton park is big and beautiful - I wish I had stayed in one of the many lovely lodgings I saw on my way to this one. My mother and I made our reservations... More

This woman showed up without a reservation or confirmation of any reservation! Then she proceeded to bully my staff, yell in front of other guests in a totally inappropriate manner until another guest had to intervene and comfort my staff who was filling in for me while I attended my daughters wedding. Poor 20 year old Nancy was in tears... More

Northland Lodge was a terrific B&B in Waterton. It is the oldest family lodging in Waterton, built in the late 1920s. Jeanne is one of the most delightful hostesses I've met at any B&B in 25 years of travel. Nothing beats a crackling fire to welcome you to her home. Highly recommended. Hospitality second to none. My wife and I travel to Waterton every fall to watch the elk rut and other wildlife. When possible, we try to stay at Northland Lodge. It is not a 5 star Hilton, but nothing in Waterton is. The lodge is quaint and homey, creaky and old. Its also charming, comfortable and quiet. Each room is different and has advantages... More

I was with one friend in Bessie's room. Bed comfortable. The ensuite bathroom consisted of a toilet and shower stall in a small room off the main room. The hand basin was in the main room, right next to one of the beds. Only 2 hooks and hangers for clothes, no chest or any place to put clothes. No bedside... More

Our lodge was built in 1928 when basins were in the room. As a designated historic site we have tried to maintain the charm of the original design. Most guests love the quaint step back in time. This fact is well publicized as well as our continental breakfast that is totally complimentary and saves guest the expense of buying breakfast... More

We enjoyed our stay at Northland Lodge. It's a perfect location with a beautiful view of tne mountainsand within walking distance to town centre but not too close. Everything went smoothly. Delicious muffins. It's expensive, but everything is costly in Waterton. We will definitely stay at Northland Lodge again. More

If you're looking for comfortable lodging that's not overgentrified and something of a trip back in time, this is your place. We stayed for two nights with our young children. The innkeeper was very accommodating as she made our reservation, followed up promptly with a confirmation email, and had everything in good order. Our room was spacious, light-filled, and pleasant.... More
