It was our first stay in a Chambre D'Hote and our expectations are now very high. Our hostess made us feel very welcome and the house, our room and bathroom were clean and loaded with charm. Her touring and restaurant recommendations were spot on. We hope stay here again.

An ideal location for exploring the nearby wine caves especially the sauterne/ Barsac towns. The barn interior is stunning , interesting and comfortable. Hospitality was tip top , both breakfast and dinner . The gardens and pool are delightful and well maintained . It is an ideal setting to unwind and enjoy rural France but also be close to Bordeaux... More

We vistited this place during our trip to the south of France. Very beatifull bed and breakfast! Rooms were very pittoreske but clean, bathroom was nice. Very special place to stay. The lady of the house was very friendly and welcomming. Fluend in French and native English speaker. To visit the neighbourhood, this is THE place to stay!

Our family stayed at La Tuilerie in July 2012 ( 2 adults and 3 children) on our first trip to France. We couldn't have chosen a better place. A great base from which to explore the Gironde region. The most beautiful house and a garden with pool, trampoline and table football for the kids. The best hostess ever - Alison... More

We get greeted with tea or wine whichever we prefer and the evening meal is excellent. It is a real pleasure and we look forward to returning again in September. This is a delightful farmhouse B&B with bedrooms around a big open central area. It is run by Alison, with help from the rest of the family and they made us feel completely at home. Nothing was too much trouble and Jonny (Alison's husband) even arranged us a canoeing trip on the nearby river. The rooms were clean, well presented... More

La Tuilerie is a favorite spot in France, my wife and I had a wonderful stay there late in the summer. The farm is a tranquil spot nestled into the beautiful Bordeaux countryside, with nice rooms and a pool that's the perfect place to relax after a warm day of exploring the vineyards. Alison is a consummate hostess and fabulous... More

We stayed 5 nights and couldn't have felt more at home. Alison made us feel so welcome that it was a real wrench to have to leave! Our room was nice and the farmhouse beautifully fitted out. We ate at La Tuilerie 3 times and the meals were fantastic. My friend is a vegetarian and Alison was well up to... More
