Got off the BC Ferries boat and headed to Poets Cove immediately. Dear Visitor You are correct, directional signage on Pender Island are lacking. All highway signage is under the jurisdiction of Ministry Of Transport; thus the resort is not at liberty to add more visible directional signs from the ferry to Bedwell Harbour. This is a remarkable place! We came in by boat and were welcomed and given a beautiful room with a fireplace, wonderful deck and tremendous bath. We stopped at the resort to 'refuel' at the cafe. The food was excellent. I had a (very filling) bowl of seafood chowder. Service was great. Attentive without hovering. Great atmosphere overlooking the water.

“Romantic, great view, dinner experience disappointing”

Overall it was great. Lack of experience in the dining room was unfortunate. It took us 3 hours and 20 minutes to eat dinner and it was not even busy. The cooking was great with once exception The topping if the creme brule should have been heated up so the caramel was melted
