If you intend to stay in Burgundy I would highly recommend La Grange Ferdiere which is centrally situated in a wonderful peaceful valley surrounded by rolling countryside with exceptional views, and typifies this part of rural France so well, with easy access to most major routes. The accommodation was immaculate with many lovely personal touches to the rooms which were... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and just loved it. The house is lovely and has a wonderful garden and terrace where we ate outside every day/night. There is a fully equipped kitchen to use and after 4 months traveling we jumped at the chance to cook with all the wonderful local produce. Veronique was a wonderful... More

I would highly recommend this B & B. The location was very convenient, yet quiet. We had a great time, toured the vinyards, the abbey city of Cluney, biked on rails converted to bike lanes, sampled wines, drank some great Leffe beer, sat on the front patio, watched the world cup soccer on their TV, cooked meals in the fully... A great B&B, thank you all Trip Advisor reviewers. We stayed here for just one night and it started our holiday off brilliantly. At first viewing we were a little sceptical, but on closer inspection this was a great find. The rooms are all of good size, and the beds, although small are very comfortable. The bathrooms are spotless -... More

I stayed in this B&B for my first travel to macon. The owner of the B&B is very nice and speak good English. The rooms are sweet and romantic. I stayed in the "Pouilly Fuissé " which is pink in tone, ideal for girls .Guests can stay in the living room to look for travel informations and chat. Also there... More

This 5-room B&B has five charming fresh ensuite rooms, a fabulous breakfast and a delightful English-speaking host, Veronique, who lives in the adjoining house with her family. The vast main floor of this restored barn is devoted to a pleasant lounge, multiple dining areas (including in the garden) , and a full open kitchen allowing for eat-in dinners if desired.... More

Trip Advisor succeeds once more! We found this gem of a place on TA and are we glad we did! La Grange is set in a country steading and the two resident chickens add to the charm. Veronique was the most gracious and accommodating hostess. I hung my wash on the line, enjoyed the communal lounge, and over indulged in... More

The southern area of Burgundy is an amazing part of France. Unfortuantely, we stayed here only 1 night, in the Saint Amour room, and it was nicely decorated and clean. The hostess, Veronique, is very friendly, helpful, and speaks English very well. She helped us find a great restaurant to have dinner (ask about the Auberge in Ste-Cecile), where we... More

I took a chance on this B&B that had no reviews on trip advisor and it was fantastic. We stayed for 2 nights in July in the very large Saint Amour room. We chose this room because the weather was very hot and this room stayed completely cool. In cooler weather I would choose one of the smaller front rooms... More
