For years I have been going to Haga Haga Hotel, ever since I was a tiny child, my parents went there, my grandparents went there. The services is great, the food is fantastic, the atmosphere is amazing. The sea being so close that it relaxes you the instant you arrive. For a experience you will never forget! More

We have stayed in the self-catering units here several times and absolutely love it. The hotel itself has good amenities and a very atmospheric bar. This is not a chi-chi luxury hotel but a cosy romantic hide-away. The self-catering rooms are exceptionally well-equipped (I have not staying in the regular hotel rooms). They are very comfortable and, being right at... More

Another hotel along our WC hike. Because of bad weather we were afraid to cross the river on our own (it was very high) so we rang the hotel for assistance. It was very dIfficult to get the help we needed, and after a very long hike we were tired and hungry. At least they sent us to workers who... More

Hotel and self service units are right on the sea's edge so it's still a magnificant venue, but don't expect too much from the hotel itself. It's lost its old charm and is looking very tired in places. Found the main entrance to both hotel and s/s units untidy and unattractive and was very surprised at the lack of cordialty... More

The Haga Haga hotel is a pleasant hotel overlooking the beach at the quiet holiday village of Haga Haga. Wheel chair friendly hotel with a great view, owners of the hotel are very environmentally and animal friendly which is great. The rooms are of an old style that could potentially do with some updates but the rooms are clean, the... More

We stayed for one night at this hotel on the coast near East London. Our situation changed unexpectedly and we had to stay here on short notice. They charge R650 per person for D/B/B, which I find a trifle expensive for this three star hotel which has no aircon in the rooms, only three basic TV channels and could do... More

A little piece of heaven away from the crowds.. No phones ringing and no traffic... Just you, the ocean and the beach. I keep returning to this little gem on the wild coast whenever I can... It's great value for money, the food is home cooked and wonderful. Don't forget to ask the owners, Neil and Sandy if you can... More

A quiet spot for a bit of coastal adventure activity in the Eastern Cape. The resort is in the tiny coastal community of Haga Haga just north of East London. It's a little bit past its best in terms of its modernity, but still worth a visit. They have self-catering units that are very good in terms of value for... More
