Used Golflands Motel because it was next to Pakuranga Golf Club where we were attending a function. Nicely appointed room, spacious and clean. Underfloor heating was a bit warm for the conditions and no way to regulate it except to open windows. Nicely renovated and updated premises obviously built in the 70s or 80s. Courteous efficient staff.

my mum recently stayed at golflands hotel...very poor cleanliness...blood stains on matress protector...yellow stains on electric blanket and pillow case...cobwebs on windows...rusty microwave...holes in teatowels. very dissapointed.

I have stayed here a number of times. The upstairs units are quieter, and have underfloor heating. The kitchenette is well stocked with utensils. There is nice balcony facing the golf course. This motel has just one room (Studio 11) which was priced at $99. All the others are $125 or more. I never did find out why this one room was so much cheaper other than for the Motel to be able to advertise "Rooms from $99".
