Gorgeous accommodation in Fernie. Staff were friendly and helpful, facilities were fantastic - we were highly surprised, given the low price we paid. Stay was only marred by some dodgy guests, however this was out of control of the hotel, and they were good enough to further discount our stay because of the inconvenience. More

Dear Trabug, Thank you very much for your review. I am glad that you found our facilities useful and that you were impressed by our friendly staff. In addition to our activity booking service, we have just added another host of amenities in the form of a range of games including Monopoly, Pictionary, Jenga, Lotto and some other old favorites.... Very friendly , helpful and welcoming staff, great views from balcony, walking distance to everything we needed. We enjoyed the rooms and wished we could have stayed for a few more days. We will make a point of staying at the Red Tree Lodge for a few more days next time . These folks really know how to make you... More

The kids and I love it there! Me cause I can save money and make us a big breakfast/lunch/ and a good dinner in the large kitchen area ( it has 2 stoves/oven, 2 dishwashers, and all the cooking equipment needed), I can do all the laundry for free minus the laundry soap etc,and the room in CLEAN!, and the... Dear Ber-Light, Thank you so much for your kind review. Our team are all glowing with pride this morning; it’s so nice to have hard work recognised and it just makes everyone want to do even better. By the way, we’ve just purchased some more DVDs for our movie theatre (all FREE to rent for our guests as you know)... More

We recently booked a room in advance at the Red Tree Lodge. From first contact through to checking out, we had incredible service and a wonderful room. This hotel has been recently renovated with beautiful results. Upon our late arrival the front desk staff informed us that because of several previous check ins, they had to change our room...to an... More

We spent 4 nights at the Red Tree Lodge and we had a wonderful experience! We enjoyed a clean, renovated spacious room ( a new 32" flat screen TV) with a balcony and a wonderful view of the mountains. The room was equipped with all the special extras, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, a table and 2 chairs. Made it easier... More

Smallest tv's we have seen in years. No hair dryers unless requested. Am incredulous that Red Tree costs the same as the Best western in the summer. Super 8 is much better for the money. More

Dear Trip Advisor Readers, I would like to apologize to this reviewer for the drop in the experience they had here at the Red Tree Lodge. We offer 3 star standard rooms with a range of facilities not usually found at hotels and we feel that we're very competitively priced. This summer our rates were as follows: • Economy Room... More

We stayed four nights and it was an excellent stay. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. All their recommendations were bang on. As a family with young children we appreciated the free laundry and the kitchen space. We also loved all the hooks in the room. Seems like a small thing but having additional space to hang... More

We stayed one night on our way to Saskatchewan. We had our dog with us and the Red Tree has some pet friendly rooms. The room we were assigned was close to a side entrance and had two comfortable queen beds. We slept well after we turned off the A/C unit which was quite loud. We could hear people in... More

I stayed at the Red Tree Lodge for a wedding in July of 2011. The reason we stayed at the Red Tree was the fact they allowed pets. When we arrived it was about 4pm. Our room was not ready. How is a room not ready at 4pm is a little strange.(We did have a reservation) They told us when... More

Dear Ms K, I am very sorry that you were disappointed with your stay at our lodge. I would like to shed some light on a number of areas of misunderstanding which upset you. (Apologies in advance for the length of my response but there was a lot to comment on!). Our front desk staff have all lived in Fernie... More

The staff at the Red Tree Lodge were really helpful from our very first enquiry and the friendly family atmosphere made our two night stop-over a relaxing enjoyable experience. The rooms are spacious and well equipped and ours had good mountain views. There's also lovely small mountain cabin style restaurants offering really fine dining and wines just a few minutes... More
