Kananaskis is a must visit location when visiting the Canadian Rockies and this hostel should be added to the list of places to stay. With electricity and hot water, it is a luxury wilderness hostel but a great place for a retreat away from the hustle and bustle of modern life and with great proximity to Nakiska ski hills and... My husband and I stayed at the Kananaskis hostel in July, so I expected crowds and some considerable noise. It was not at all like that! The hostel was blissfully quiet and peaceful, and it was sparkling clean. Our private room was small but clean throughout. The kitchen, bathroom, and our room were all spotless.
