Me and my friend visited Isle of Man in July 2012 and stayed in Kerrowkeil b&b for 3 nights. It is difficult to imagin better base for our journey: in the very centre of the island, 20 min drive to the port of Peel and 30 min drive to the capital Douglas. The owner Margaret was nice and kind, we... More

We spent ten nights at this warm and homely B&B during the TT and enjoyed every moment of the experience. Margaret is very welcoming and has an understanding of those who are on holidays and puts the visitors comfort and requirements first. For those who just wish to sit and relax there is a wonderful guest’s lounge/sun room with all... More

We spent 4 nights at this B&B and were made to feel as though we were treasured guests rather than paying customers. Margaret runs the B&B in a way that can only be described as homely. Our bedroom was huge with views of the hills, and the bed was equally large and comfortable. It's wonderfully quiet at night so sleeping... More

We had a lovely 6 nights staying with Harry, Margaret, Meg and Bess. Their hospitality was second to none, from the moment we arrived untill the time we departed nothing was too much trouble. It was our first time visiting the Isle of Man and you certainly didn't need to go to an information centre as Harry and Margaret could... More

We stayed with Harry, Margaret, Bess and Meg while in Isle of Man for a Christening. Location was perfect as the Christening was in St Johns. From the first minute to the last we couldn't have been made more welcome. The room was lovely with a lovely big bathroom with bath and shower. Nothing was too much trouble and we... More

We stayed at Kerrowkeil during TT week. What a fantastic find it was. Ideal area to watch the race at Ballecrane ! Room was gorgeous, very peaceful. Harry, Margaret, Bess and Meg made us feel very welcome. Harry's breakfast was second to none. I will be recommending this lovely place to everyone.

What a gem of a find. This wonderful Bed & Breakfast is in a gorgeous and tranquil setting, with tremendous views to the front, and we have no qualms whatsoever in recommending it to anyone. Our bedroom was spacious, as was the bed, we slept extremely well. The room was light and airy and the prefect temperature. The jacuzzi bathroom... More

The second you arrive at this lovely guest house you are made to feel welcome. There is nothing that is too much trouble for Harry and his wife. The spacious room was one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. The breakfast was perfect and plentiful with Harrys extra touches of home made bread and jams and local... More

It was my distinct pleasure to spend four nights in the Kerrowkeil whilst attending a Celtic Conference on the Isle of Man. A colleague stayed with me. This accommodation was one of the highlights of our visit. The room was superb and extremely comfortable. The breakfast can only be described as magnificent ! Harry and family did everything to make... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
Kerrowkeil was built prior to 1850 and used to be the farmhouse for a large estate. We bought it in 1980 in a derelict condition and have spent the intervening time renovating and extending it into the warm welcoming home it is today. Set in the tranquil countryside just outside St Johns, our location provides convenient access to all parts of the Island, either using public, or your own form of transport. There are many pleasant walks in the area and we are close to the mid point for longer walks such as the millennium way.Our aim is to provide you with a relaxed, comfortable and peaceful base from which to enjoy your holiday on our beautiful Island. ... more   less
