Good room. They upgraded me to a king and I am ok with that. Room is rustic but clean and good! I am here in off the season and in an end room. Quiet and secure. I would come here again to go mountain biking. Front dest has a funny little dog named Chico. Small and very hilarious.

Recently returned here and noticed many changes. The rooms have been re-painted and re-decorated. They also have new bedding and duvet covers. Staff is very friendly, their cafe has amazing breakfast options and I always enjoy the indoor heated pool. Will continue to stay here whenever I am in the Comox Valley. Recommend this place without reservation.

On Dec.22 my wife and child stayed in this hotel. The blankets had cigarettes hole stains, and our duvet had a blood stain. We reluctantly returned our duvet. The hot tub was dangerous and very dirty. I was itchy all night after going in it Then, at night the wall started shaking, the manager then moved us to a different... More

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback on your stay with us. When our housekeeping staff has found evidence that a guest has smoked in our rooms an extra cleaning charge will apply. All rooms are clearly marked. The hot tub and pool are checked daily. Our linen and duvets have been replaced. Thank You Management More

My family stayed here in September 2012 for just one night. We were a little disappointed with the standard of cleanliness in the bathroom - the shower curtain had mud all over it - we told the office and they apologized and said they would follow up with the cleaning staff. Otherwise we were quite pleased with the room -... More

For a single travelling person this is the best in affordability with a clean room. Not entirely soundproof - and my room did not have a microwave or fridge -but as I just use it for sleeping and paperworking in... I will definitely stay again.

I thought it appropriate to submit a review for this fine establishment. Nestled in the Comox Valley near the ocean and plenty of lakes and is home to world class skiing, snowboarding, fishing, hiking and anything to do with the outdoors. Our stay here has been a great pleasure. The rooms are clean and within a modest budget. The friendly... More

I would recommend anyone ask to see the room before they sign on the dotted line to stay here. When I visited recently, things were in poor repair in the two rooms I looked at, and I didn't stay. If some of the positive reviews are accurate, then perhaps there are other decent rooms that I didn't see. Be careful.

We were in Courtenay for a family visit and our family told us the Comox Valley Inn had new management and was looking really good. They said they had a special on that read over 55 stays for 55. That was us and the price was right. Everyone at the Inn was so nice and helpful we loved it. When... More

I do not typically write reviews but could not help myself after coming across such negative reviews of this motel. I am from the Seattle area and have had the luxury of visiting this motel several times while on business. I find the rooms spacious and clean. It is definitely worth the price. I thought the staff was very genuine.
