I almost lived there 40 yrs ago, skied most weekends, mostly xc and touring. Went back for my 65 birthday with family. A nostalgia trip.Trails and grooming excellent. Shuttle bus service good, friendly driver, to and from downhill lodge, some 10 km away. Wife and inlaw used the bus as they had tough time skiing from lodge to downhill area.... More

Our family of four recently stayed at the Manning Park Resort for 3 nights. While the lodge rooms are older the room was clean and spacious. Although there are signs requesting no cooking in the rooms, all rooms have a mini fridge and a microwave so we were able to prepare all of our meals using the basic "heat and... More

Any family wishing to holiday in the snow and in Canada will love this resort. We stayed in a chalet. Two families shared 3 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms, easily sleeping 12 with a kitchen. Transport to skiing is simple and convenient. We walked the kids to outdoor ice skating and tobogganing. We were blessed with beautiful snow. Many thanks More

We arrived in the evening and all the amenities were closed, a bit too early in my opinion. Also, the breakfast restaurant did not open until 8 AM, which seems kind of late. There is no cell phone service in the area, and no wifi. I think if you are going to ski or hike or explore the park, this... More

We just stayed a week in a 2 bdrm cabin over New Years with our 2 children (ages 8 and 12) and it was great. Our children had a fantastic time. Perfect perfect place for young children, This is a perfect getaway. Yes, it's not the Four Seasons Hotel, but the cabins are clean (yes they could use an updating,... More

Stayed in standard 8 person cabin recently but have also stayed in a lodge room previously. Stayed 2 nights for New Years - no cable ("too much snow on satellite"), closed hot tub, closed skate rink (bummer for the kids), also "ran out" of some food and beverages... very disappointing! This was peak season - they should have been well... More

The positive was the room was clean, decently appointed, and the staff was pleasant from the first greeting to the check out. The tennis courts had wide cracks and did not appear to have been even superficially patched in 2011. The air condioner/heat switch could not be turned off and blew cold air all night onto me, while not being... More

We booked one of the hotel's cottages because we had our dog with us, so my experience may have been different from those that stay in the hotel. We booked spur of the moment after going hiking for the day (we live in North Vancouver) and probably would have been out of luck if it hadn't been late sept. We... More

Nice "Twin Peaks look and feel" lodge, friendly staff, large and clean rooms with fridge, no WiFi though (or cell phone reception). Internet free of charge on computer in lobby. Breakfast available from nearby restaurant. No special things, but simply a good hotel room. Stayed here for two nights. Would book here again, location is perfect for visiting Manning Provincial... My husband and I visited the lodge but were disappointed that there was no dining facilities only a poor restaurant serving burgers, fries etc. Our room was clean and attractive but as sixty-somethings we have come to expect fresh, healthy menus. More
