This is a lovely hostel, we were in the heritage room which was great. There is a good kitchen and lounge as well. The location is very close to downtown and walking distance, We were there in winter, will have to visit in summer.

I had such a great time at the whitehouse lodge, all the staff was super friendly and very helpful, as well with most of the guests that stayed. The community kitchen is great, makes for a good conversation starter:) I highly recommend it and I'll definitely be back soon!

We stayed in a private room and I was very impressed. The whole hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful, efficient and friendly. Great location too and the price is cheap. Would definately recommend.

Stayed in a private room, this is one of the cleanest and smartest backpackers I've stayed in. Lovely sitting room in an lovely house with loads of original features. Friendly place to stay although the kitchen is a little cramped if using it at busy times. Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in Nelson.

Absolutely stunning little place. Clean, well decorated, good shower and the saff were amazing. Walking distance to town where you find the best organic restaurants. Buy the whitewater cookbook by Shelly adams well worth it.

My boyfriend and I were exploring Nelson and ended up at this property by accident actually but it was a very welcomed mistake. This place was nice, clean, affordable and super close to everything we wanted to check out in town. I would definitely stay there again.
