This property, a former Holiday Inn Express, is relatively new (<5 years), has lots of parking and is located not too far off Highway 99. Because it was the off season, we were able to get a really good rate for a king room with microwave and mini-fridge. The room we had was impressive - lots of space. Usually in... More

A comfortable, new hotel in Squamish. The lobby is bright and open. Front desk staff were friendly and attentive. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable! I appreciated the choice of firm or soft pillows (conveniently labelled) and the mini fridge and microwave, though I didn't use them, would be most convenient for a longer stay. The... More

The lobby area of the Sandman in Squamish is very open and airy. The hotel is quite new so the pool was not open. The rooms very comfortable. Excellent beds. FREE INTERNET was most welcome. No restaurant but a 'less than adequate' continental breakfast was included in the rate. This was the only down-side to the property that I could... More

We stayed here during my brothers wedding and we had 17 rooms booked in May 2011. The staff were very friendly and they never said "NO" to anything. Anything we or our guests asked for was provided or done. They let us use their meeting space the night before for a pre wedding gathering. The rooms were very clean, new... More

Staff not as knowledgable about Sandman's rewards program. I had a cars for the 13 day stay and then get one night free. I asked for my 2 nights to get stamped on my card, but I was told I had to register online first. So I was told to call or register when I get home, and I asked... More

We stayed one night, rather than the more expensive Whistler. Price with all taxes in was $104. Room was very clean. There was evidence in the hotel that LARGE groups of young people (sports teams?) were also staying here. I suspect that the low prices probably attract groups such as sports teams, which might lead to occasional rowdy sounds in... More

Had a CONFIRMED/UPDATED reservation for two rooms for eight people on Aug 20... but reservation was not honored. Never ever knew that they took over the property from the previous owner. Turnover should have been properly managed! Our reservation for 2 rooms were confirmed way back May 2011. The travelling party of eight was left with no rooms as the... More

We were in town for the Live at Squamish and hoped to enjoy a family-filled weekend of shows and being outdoors in beautiful Squamish and its mountains. We had one room with 2 Queen beds. Roomy, clean and new (large bathroom) and had a kitchen sink, fridge and microwave. Front desk staff helpful. Recommended eating dinner at Sushi Sen up... More

We had used Priority Club points to book a 2 night stay at Holiday Inn Express in Squamish, BC. Actually planned our itinerary around this particular hotel's availability and booked months in advance. On the day that we arrived at the hotel, we learned that the property had been sold 2 days prior to our arrival. The name had been... More
