Authentic with modern and clean touches made for a nice stay, safer parking away from the street and alley. Breakfast was good, and with conversation. Bed was comfy, the washroom clean and the shower was new and stayed hot. We'd stay again. More

Barbie could not have been more pleasant or welcoming. Her home was beautiful, elegant without being stuffy, the bed was absolutely perfect, and the breakfast was delicious. We we definitely stay here again on our next visit to Nova Scotia. More

We stayed at Mrs. O'Leary's Victorian B and B one night while we were traveling through Nova Scotia. Our hostess, Barbie Reynolds, was very welcoming, the b and b is beautiful, and our room was very quiet, spacious, and comfortable. We enjoyed our conversations with Barbie and with other guests over a delicious breakfast. We highly recommend it when you... More

This amazing B & B is a perfect spot to stay....a beautiful home with spacious rooms and great hospitality. Barbie, the owner set the tone for our visit when she suggested a great dinner spot. Our room was comfortable and cosy with a private bath. Breakfast the next morning was delicious (cooked by Erin...ask for the yummy muffins!!!) and Barbie... More

This was our first trip to Nova Scotia....what a start. Mrs. O'Leary's set the tone. We spent four nights and enjoyed everyone. The room was delightful....with a private bath. Barbie Reynolds and her daughter Erin(Mrs. O'Leary) provided excellent breakfasts each morning. The home has been beautifully restored and is full of antiques. We were made very welcome and parted feeling... More

This house and the innkeeper are a gem! A true Victorian home with plenty of room to relax and feel at home. It should be given 5 stars for all of it's comforts. Barbie is very personable, knowledgeable of the area and serves a great breakfast. Be sure and have her join you for coffee. More

I pulled into Truro on a rainy day, needing a place to stay. The visitors' center helped me peruse through brochures, and luckily, Mrs. O'Leary's had a room. It is in a great location, and is a very lovely home. I had a very cute room with a private sitting area. Since it was pouring rain, I went and bought... More

I was traveling through Truro late one evening in June and saw the porch light on. Mrs. Reynolds checked me in and and showed me the room. She and her daughter- Mrs. O'Leary, had done an impressive job fixing up this old Victorian era home. I had a very soft, warm comfortable bed and a private bath, and a stting... More
