It would be quite suitable for a business traveler needing a little bit of living space, but I wouldn't recommend it for a family... More

We stayed here for one night before catching the ferry to Maine last July. Having spent most of the day getting a bit lost in the uninspiring interior of Nova Scotia and arriving in Yarmouth minutes before the visitors' center closed for the night, we booked this hotel without looking around at other options. There was a warm welcome with special rates for 5 nights. The receptionist was quite flexible in respect of the room choice. The bartender was very friendly (British, living since years in Canada) as was the restaurant staff! The food/price relation was okay. The rooms were standard but large (important when on travel with suitcases). Only the roommaid had some... More

This is the most convenient location if you are leaving on the morning Cat ferry. The restaurant is quite good for standard fare--i.e. fried seafood and a typical Canadian-American breakfast.
