King Pacific Lodge is magnificent. The hospitality and accommodations are second to none, and the setting and activities are life altering. They take such care of their guests, one feels like they are visiting friends, with impeccable taste. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who loves being pampered while experiencing breathtaking nature. More

Our 3rd trip in 7 years, each time better as the family aged together including significant others, with great memories of the Lodge, staff and experiences. Secluded family time, always active, but perfect separation of activities, quiet time, personalized food, and respectful staff. Money cannot buy these memories. Well worth the price per night, as busy lives invest in precious... More

The flight in from Bella Bella was incredible, especially the approach into Barnard Harbour. Our pilot circled around and approached from the west through a narrow channel landing in the harbour. Breathtaking. Once our plane was tied up on the docks, we were greeted with champagne and a warm welcome from the attentive staff. Our room was awesome, we had... More

We had a fabulous experience staying at KPL. It is very expensive and so was a 'special' birthday treat for me but it was what I wanted and more. I was there with 'benjamin c' , Gary M and 'very disappointing' - Hi fellow evacuees! - I can understand disappointment at having a 4 day trip cut in half by... More

Had a great stay ! The very first outing we did our boat was surrounded by about 30 whales jumping and feeding in the dark waters between the islands. They did something called bubblenet feeding – amazing to watch so close up with schools of little swarm fish all around them. Apparently they do that to fatten up in late... More

I have only ever viewed reviews on tripadvisor but since Gary M's 'beg to differ' appears to have erroneously mentioned myself and my wife in his review I feel compelled to reply and provide a review regarding our trip. I assume Gary M is meaning myself and my wife as we preferred to keep our own company including dining as... More

I was on the same trip as "Very disappointing." This couple totally isolated themselves from everyone else on the trip and set themselves up to be disappointed. The venue is unbelievable-this was my fourth trip there. The service, food, accommodations were first class. But the most amazing part of the experience was just being there amongst all the flora and... More

I had a disappointing stay at this lodge. We had to be evacuated and were then told that no other lodges were open due to the weather at the end of September so should this have really been opened?? We paid extra to view the kermode bears and couldn't believe it when all of the other guests were on the... More

Imagine a floating lodge with only 17 sleeping rooms and more than 30 staff.... I have never had more outstanding service in all my life. There isn't anything they can't do. The food is exquisite and the activites are outstanding. They give you experienced guides to take along with you hiking, fishing, kayaking, on cultural tours, and to the local... More
