Great location in the woods outside York. We only stayed one night but the bathroom wasn't great. the rest of it was wonderful including the fantastic breakfast. Perfect for one night.

Just returned from 4 very comfomtable nights at Mohair Farm. A warm welcome awaited me on arrival, I was shown up to my very spacious room, shown where everything was. We were a party of two couples. We booked in about 5pm and went off to our function. One couple went to the wrong door and was told in an abrupt voice by the proprietress to go to the other door to book in. Not a very good welcome! On entering the house there was grubby entrance, a musty odor...

Large room ,good variety for breakfast but distinct bathroom problems.Shower tap is either too hot or too cold. Host seems basically disinterested.
An excellent B&B with riendly, personal service and very welcoming to dogs. We had a huge room, with all kinds of thoughtful touches, including quality magazines and even a plug adaptor for Australasian plugs. Coffee, tea, chocolate etc and a small kettle with fresh milk.
Ensuite bath with hand-held shower attachment. Good choice of cereals etc for breakfast with chioce...
