Found this hotel by chance using my galaxy phone. Pet friendly, rooms very clean, staff extremely helpful could do with a little more foreign food on the menu. The hotel seems to cater for a lot of cycling grous going through to Cambodia.

About three hours from Bangkok, and one hour to the Cambodian border, Sa Kaeo is a nice provincial city to break the journey. We spent 4 days there mainly so we could spend time at Pangsida National Park, an easy 30km drive from the hotel.
