Just back from an excellent hen party weekend in Loughcrew, George was extremely helpful and easy to deal with when organising. House is unique with great character, great place to have a night in due to its quirkiness! Very clean and comfortable. Adventure course was a great laugh- team leaders Jamie and Alo were fantastic and looked after us very... More

Just back from my mini hen weekend at Loughcrew. We stayed for two nights. The house is fab and very clean but a little quirky. Personally I really liked it and thought it's foibles added to the overall charm of the building. There were 10 of us in the group and we slept in one wing. There's plenty of room... More

17 of us have just come back from a hen weekend at Lough Crew and had the best weekend ever! The massive house we had all to ourselves for the whole weekend was just perfect. We did the half day adventure course on sat and never laughed as much, covered in muck from head to toe, we thoroughly enjoyed every... More

we stayed for 2 nights, this house was not what i expected it be, nothing like in the pictures. It was very spooky, things where going missing and getting moved, toilets flushing and lights going on/off on their own, All the rooms where freezing, But overall it was nice and a fun place to stay.

Hi Jane Thank you for for the review and sorry it has taken so long to reply to it. I cannot explain the spooky feeling but we have looked over the heating system to make sure it heats all the radiators and we have electric heaters in all the room now if anyone need extra heat. I am very happy... More

We all had great fun at Loughcrew AdventureCourse and found the old house very comfortable. We knew it was private accommodation so we brought our own fire-logs and the owner let us light a roaring fire in the huge fireplace in the drawing room. It was very atmospheric, sort of a mix of classical French country and Regency-style furnishing with... More
