I have stayed in some bad motels in Tahoe just to save a buck (we're talking $20/night, the type of place where you need to bring shoes to wear in the shower), but this motel bumped up their prices because they recently "remodeled" their rooms and since we're supposed to be adults now we figured we'd spend a little bit...
