When you thought it couldnt get any better!!! Jenny has just refurbed the Gatehouse including a fab new woodburner... perfect for the snow. Really cosy. The cottage looks brilliant, just out of country living magazine but still has that homely touch that makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed there. Had another lovely stay - will be back as soon... More

We stayed at the Lodge and we found it to be one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in. Everything we needed was there and Jenny was very helpful . The area around the farm is stunning and we will be returning for a longer stay next year. Thank you for making our holiday special

We had a brilliant stay at Alnham. We stayed in both the Lodge and at the farmhouse B&B, and can highly recommend both. The Lodge is ideal for families, takes dogs and has everything you could possibly need. The B&B is fantastic and very smart, without you being afraid of causing a mess! The huge baths and fluffy towels are... More

We stayed in the Gatehouse, and although in July the weather was rather wet, the cottage was warm and welcoming. Plenty of walks from the door step with marvellous views. Jenny was very welcoming and informative and was able to help us by phone with directions when we were lost. Would recommend most wholeheartedly

We stayed in the lodge (family of four) comfortably and friends stayed in the cottage just next door. A perfect combination. It was beautifully decorated with everything you need. Jenny was just lovely welcoming and informative. The kids loved the tour of the farm and the noisy pig. The farm is in a great location for exploring the area and... More

We travel the country competing with our dogs. This by far the nicest place we have stayed. The lodge decor is pretty and stylish, it could not be cleaner, very comfortable and we were made to feel very welcome. The fire was lit for our arriving and home made cake was waiting. Quiet with good hill walking. Loved watching the... More

We arrived after a long journey to a warm welcome from Jenny and very welcome tea and cake in the sitting room. Most importantly, the room had a comfortable bed, luxurious duvet and soft pillows making for a very good night's sleep. The ensuite bathroom was spacious with a large bath and a good shower (over the bath) and lots... More

The Lodge is beautiful very well equiped everything has been thought about to the last little detail. It is very cozy and warm with plentiful supply of logs for the fire. We were very sad to leave this mornind but have booked again.

We arrived wet, windswept and frozen, and were met with a very warm welcome from Jenny as we dripped in her hallway. She whisked our soaking clothers to warm by the Aga, while we soaked in warm baths and regained use of our numb limbs. Comfortable beds, enormous baths, delicious breakfasts with local produce, and even a courtesy lift to... More
