Truly a fantastic place to stay, having just returned from a 2 night stay Beaconsfield Farm is ideally situated to tour all the best attractions Somerset has to offer. We were lucky enough to stay in the Swallows Nest which is a converted barn to the side of the main house, this has been converted to an extremely high standard... More

We just spent one night, on our way from London to Dartmoor. Beaconsfield was a welcoming place to spend the night. The room, the one with the claw foot tub, was comfortable and well appointed. But the best part of the stay, aside from the rooster in the back yard, was breakfast! What a way to start the day -... More

Found this at the last minute and decided to book online after reading glowing reviews. So glad I did, not least because my wife loved it so I earned plenty of brownie points. Host (Carol) was very friendly and greeted us warmly. We were only stopping for one night en route to Devon from the Midlands, but I'm sure our... More

After doing a bit of research i came across Beaconsfield farm by accident whilst trying to find a place to stay near to Bath. What a find! We stayed in the Stables which is seperate to the main house, loads of room to spread out and i mean big rooms! Very clean and so so cosy, the heating was much... More

We have been staying at Beaconsfield Farm B and B for 20 years and we have NEVER been disappointed. The accomodation is excellent, always spotlessly clean and Carol provides such a warm welcome it's like coming home. The breakfast she provides is enormous, freshly cooked and made with top local ingredients. There is lots of information provided about where to... More

This is our second stay at Beaconsfield Farm and we would come back again without any doubt. Excellent quality and location make this a superb B+B or self catering if required. More

Having seen all of the other reviews, I must have missed something here! We stayed for three nights at this B&B - the room was comfortable enough and the bathroom was large; although trying to maintain an even temperature in the shower was an impossibility - either a boiling deluge or a cold trickle with not a lot in beteween.... Feedback from my guests has always been extremely important to me, and over the 24 years I have been running the B&B in my home, I have been overwhelmed by some stunning reviews. That said, I am not resting on my laurels and your review has been a huge shock and disappointment to me. I only wish you had expressed... More

We cannot recommend this Bed and Breakfast highly enough. We have stayed in many Bed and Breakfasts in the last ten years, and this was simply the best by far. Carol was a great hostess, and nothing was to much trouble. The room, facilities and food were all excellent as was the location of this wonderful B&B. More

Partner and I stayed one night as a stopover before home after a long weekend in Devon. The accommodation is near to Wells were we had honeymooned 30 years ago and this was our first return visit since. Carol is very welcoming and the room comfortable, with a wonderful on- suite bathroom. Breakfast excellent, plenty of choice and cooked to... More
