The drive to Tahsis is nuts, but when you arrive and see the pretty village, it is so worth it. I had to work, so really enjoyed the fact of where I was. Tahsis is one of my secret vacation spots. The views driving from Gold River are absolutely breath taking, not to mention the cave exploration just outside Gold River. Many bears along the way.
