My husband and I got married at Prested Hall in May 2011. I stayed overnight the night before with my mum and my bridesmaids and had afternoon tea and dinner. We had such a wonderful time and the staff were excellent and could not do enough for us. I think these days you don't often come across such good manners... More

I recently hosted a small conference at Prested Hall for my business club. There were 8 delegates who all stayed at the hall and enjoyed dinner the night before the seminar, which was an all day event. They all loved the rooms and the food and, in particular, the delegate who is on a gluten free diet was very impressed... More

We spent a night at Prested Hall to attend a friend's wedding nearby. The staff were friendly and efficient. Afternoon tea was to die for and breakfast excellent. Our room had fantastic views over the grounds and was probably the most comfortable and relaxing we have visited in the UK. What we appreciated most was that it wasn't a chain,... More

Stayed here for my best friends wedding, from the moment we arrived the staff were polite and very efficient. The Main banqueting room was clean, spacious and nicely decoatated for a old building. The food was very tasty and hot which is sometimes hard with large tables or people. The bar I thought was very reasonable for a JD &... More

We stayed as a couple for a night at Prested on Good Friday this year, after I had found it during research a couple of years ago and always wanted to stay there. Our double was upgraded on arrival, therefore not only did we benefit from a very reasonable Good Friday overnight rate of DBB at £120 per room/couple, but... More

I was looking for a romantic venue for a night away and came across this hotel and, more specifically, 'The Dingle' which is a cottage for two set apart from the main hotel. The cottage is perfect for those that don't want to be disturbed. It is furnished to a high standard as you would expect. The night we stayed,... More

Delighted you had a good time here. Just to clarify, when we have a wedding, and we did over 100 last year, we don't have a restaurant because the Hall is always booked on an exclusive hire basis for day and night (all bedrooms included). Hence our restaurant is really more of a guests' dining room, though when we are... More

Deputy Manager was extremely helpful in helping us locate our apartment in the separate building (health club) to the main house. Apartment (No. 24) located above the Gym was well appointed other than some minor refinements needed to update the old TV and digi box and the sunken seatee being past its best. Apartment had a unique vibration between the... More

Set in gloriously beautiful grounds with a very long sweeping drive, Prested Hall has a calming atmosphere from the word go. "Old English" would best describe the decor and very comfortable it is with soft welcoming couches and plenty of small coffee type table to help you settle down - just like home. The food is very tasty and the... More

We have just come back from an awat day at Prested Hall and we can't thank them enough. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The room we booked was bright, airy and overlooked the grounds to the rear of the property. The food was excellent and plentiful. We would definately use Prested Hall again. Thank you very much. We had booked a business meeting at Prested Hall after reading good reviews about the food and location. We were all very disappointed to say the least. Our meeting room was freezing cold, we were told the heating was on and because it was an old house it would be cold, in fairness the member of staff did bring in... More

To have two heating problems in one day is an owner’s nightmare (as well as a guest’s) and, of course, we are extremely sorry that this happened. Unfortunately, it became clear the next day that our main gas boiler (less than 5 months old) had failed, and our Duty Manager should have realised this much sooner. Furthermore, we have a... More
