We arrived in Sonoyta the Sunday before Labour Day around 4 pm, driving in from Ciudad Obregon also in Sonora. Our plan was to cross the border that day and spend the night in Ajo Arizona to make it to San Diego on Monday, but we needed Canada/US insurance for our Mexican plated vehicle and only one office was open...
