A beautiful room with all the amenities one could wish for. The makings of a great breakfast and little treats that did Judy proud. The deck and pool in front of our room provided a wonderful ever changing view of Whangaroa Harbour. Early one morning I climbed the hill behind, steep but well worth the effort to get views of... Our apartment was immaculate and directly fronted onto a small pool and decking area which has spectacular extensive views over Whangaroa Harbour from the property's elevated position. We had sole use of this lovely outside area and the hot tub. The apartment had everything you needed and a self catering breakfast was provided, accompanied by homemade preserves. Little treats of... Waimanu Lodge is simply bewitching. Set in an enchanting and captivating part of NZ, this lodge provided us with the chance to relax, unwind and recharge in remarkable comfort. If privacy is at the top of your must-have-list then don't be concerned, in our two night stay we saw Shaun and Judy 3 times: Checkin, checkout and by chance when... More

Judy and Shaun were great hosts who made our stay a wonderful time of rest and relaxation. Their attention to detail and our wellbeing was unobtrusive and yet five star. The location is a beautiful example of New Zealand's best and the community has a touch of old world charm. It is also a very good base from which to... More

My friends and I spent 3 nights at Waimanu and we just raved about the place. The owners are incredibly thoughtful and we had a lot of extras in the rooms. The setting is perfect, very quiet and the views will amaze. Very high standard of presentation and cleanliness.

My husband and I stayed two nights at Waimanu Lodge. Judy took us up to the room and I could barely take in what she was saying as my attention was totally distracted by the view!!! We chose to stay at Waimanu based on Trip Advisor reviews and we were not disappointed, it is just as everyone writes. Judy and Shaun had thought of everything down to sunscreen and insect repellent...good dvds, novels and recent quality magazines. The accommodation was excellent and the hosts very friendly. I have been recommending this venue ever since and have... More
