We were due to stay 14th/15th April 2012 my wife having booked the Johnny Cash room in July 2011 to celebrate my birthday.
On arrival we were told that the room was booked to someone else.
As we had obviously booked the room first, and had the booking confirmation as proof, we were amazed to be told that we could...

We visited the Blue Pigeons last summer to eat and thought the food good. Although there has been a change of manager and chef, the food is still good, we had excellent roast lunches . At the moment there is a limited menu, but it was fine for us.

Room freezing. (radiator turned off, plenty of notice of arrival so no excuse)...

We stayed in a "chalet room". Given the price (£85) and the TV recommendations, we expected an awful lot more. The chalet was cold when we got there (bathroom freezing!), and had, we felt, a cheap bed and flimsy bedding and pillows, and was generally pretty basic. There was no wifi signal whatsoever in the room, despite being just a...

I have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Blue Pigeon and can't tell you how impressed I was with the service food and rooms which were provided. I stayed in the vintage room which was an absolute delight. The staff were helpful on places of interest around the area and the barman chef and watress we had...
