We stayed here for 2 nights in March. The location is great, sea and mountain views and the hosts Era and Raoul are very welcoming and certainly know how to look after their guests. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom were roomy, spotlessly clean, lovely bed linen and a quantity of fluffy white towels. There was a full size fridge stocked... More

We stayed at this super guesthouse just for the night, as we were only in Betty's Bay for one day. Hosts Era & Raoul are lovely, and make you feel right at home. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with a really big modern bathroom. Nice firm queen sized bed, and crisp white linen and lovely fluffy towels.... More

This is a lovely, modern Guest House, minimalist yet with everything to hand and a well equipped kitchen in the unit at the back that we stayed in. The sundowner on the balcony chatting to Era and Raoul was lovely; a chance to get to know them and the other guests who were staying. Breakfast was good and it is... More

Era and Raoul made us very welcome to their beautiful house ideally situated between the sea and mountains. The Honeymoon Suite was luxurious with views over the sea. Their advice and knowledge led us to enjoying the environment and locality to the full. The evening sundower tradition was much appreciated and the conversation very informative. One of our best stays... More

Right from the beginning, we felt very welcome and treated like family members by Era an Raoul. We were invited to join their tradition of having a sundowner, out of which interesting discussions and a personal relationship arised. The tiny dog was funny and liked us. The surroundings itself are beautifully rough, with fynbos, rugged mountains in the back and... More

Staying with Era and Raoul Van Den Berg was a treat! They are gracious and friendly hosts and made me feel welcome and at home. The guesthouse is pristine with comfortable, well-appointed rooms and sea views. Great breakfast, too. Nicest place I've stayed in in Betty's Bay!
